PVC 2″x 1/2″ Bushing. PVC is Pipe is designed for both above and below ground medium pressure applications. PVC is generally used for both commercial and residential plumbing construction. PVC and its fittings are glued together with special PVC glue that’s designed to create a seal that is leak proof and durable. Schedule 80 PVC can withstand pressure as high as 1230 PSI and is ideal for pressure situations that demand more strength and durability than schedule 40 or a class 200 applications. All PVC Schedule 80 pipe is manufactured from a Type I, Grade I Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound. This means that it is generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens. This PVC 2″x 1/2″ Bushing features both slip-fit and threaded connections. The Slip’ Glue in part is a 2″ Male fitting designed to fit into another 2″ fitting like a Tee or an Elbow. The threaded connection is a 1/2″ female connection that allows the user to install different types of pipe and fittings needed to complete the system.
